A brand-new **Army Cadet Force (ACF) troop – 6 Troop East Cowes – is launching soon in the town, offering young people aged 12 to 17 an opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence, and take part in a wide range of adventurous activities.
The new unit will be based at Holy Cross Primary School, Milford Avenue, and will meet every Thursday from 19:00 to 21:00.
Young people who join can get involved in activities such as navigation, first aid, leadership, fieldcraft, team-building, community events, camps, competitions, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme — all within a supportive and structured environment.
