Hiring – The Town Hall

The Town Hall  is available for hire and hosts everything from lunches, birthday parties, weddings to Bingo evenings and Pantomimes.

The hall servery can be used for refreshments.

The size of the hall is 39 ft by 52ft 7 ins and with a stage, the hall can accommodate talent shows and other amateur performances.

Seating:  The hall can take seating for 160 and 20 standing. 57 seats on the Balcony. (No under 11s and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Tables:   There are 2 large tables (1820 x 700mm), 1 medium table (1500 x 760mm) and 24 small tables (1200 x 700mm).

Hire costs from 1st April 2022 Monday to Sunday £15.00 per hour (Community Rate) or £22.50 per hour (Commercial Rate) for the Hall and servery.

Additional charges apply for use of the theatre and stage, caretaker and keyholder services and rubbish removal. See hirers pack for details.

Hiring – The East Side Curve

The meeting room accommodates groups of up to 12. It has a projector and screen and tea and coffee making facilities. It is available to hire at £15 per hour. Additional charges apply for keyholder services oustside opening hours. See hirers pack for details.

The multi-purpose space at the front of the community hub is available for use by members of the public and community groups free of charge during opening hours. Outside these hours a keyholder charge is made. If you would like to organise a regular activity please contact us.

Recreation Grounds

We have a wide range of flexible outdoor areas, that can be rented out for various events, from corporate picnices and team building activities to birthday parties, yoga classes, or even small scale weddings.

Hiring – Jubilee

The grounds itself are around 3.5 acres they consist of a large open field, a playground, benches and the Romanov Monument.

The area itself has been used to host various events and shows and would be the perfect location to hire for a large event.

Hiring – Victoria

This particular green space is 14.5 acres, the area is divided by Vectis Road, – leading onto the MUGA and our Skatepark. On the north side of the park is a play area for children.

Hiring –  Esplanade

There are varying areas at the Esplanade (100th Anniversary in 2024.) All of our green spaces are alongside the shore making it an idyllic location to host an event or celebration or fair.
